Major 12 million reburbishment programme nears completion.

The existing Carvers Restaurant will be redeveloped to become the Kings Hall, a magnificent new events room seating up to 300 people for dinner or 240 guests for a Dinner Dance. Seven additional state-of-the-art rooms will hold between 16 and 80 people for private dining. The hotel will see the creation of a stunning new restaurant and bar concept, Tempus, which will boast its own direct access from George Street. The George is within easy reach of the majority of Edinburghs most popular attractions including the famous Castle, Princes Street Gardens and Holyrood Palace. A little further a field is Edinburgh Zoo and Leith Port which is now home to the Royal Yacht Britannia. Easily accessible by road, rail and air, the George Hotel is just a few minutes walk from Waverley Station and is just a short journey from Edinburgh International Airport.
